Everything you need to know about studio rules, cancellations, and safety — so every family can enjoy a safe, welcoming, and well-run experience at Illuminate Studios.
Studio Rules
A few simple guidelines to keep our studio running smoothly for everyone.
Arrive On Time
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled class or session. Late arrivals may not be admitted once a class has begun, to avoid disrupting the experience.
Respect Class Capacities
Each class has a maximum capacity to ensure quality and safety. Pre-registration is required for all classes and programs.
Age-Appropriate Participation
Children must be enrolled in the correct age group for their class. Siblings may wait in the designated co-working or community space with a guardian.
Mind the Noise Level
We love joyful energy! Please be mindful during quiet activities and in shared co-working areas where parents may be working or taking a class.
Phone & Photography
Please silence phones during classes. Photography of your own child is welcome, but please do not photograph other children without their parent's permission.
Food & Drink
Water bottles are welcome in all spaces. Snacks and meals should be enjoyed in the designated community area. No nuts or nut-containing products, please.
Respect the Studio
Please help us keep the studio clean and tidy. Return toys and equipment to their designated areas after use.
Kindness First
Illuminate Studios is a welcoming community. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior of any kind will not be tolerated.
Parent Responsibility & Supervision
Illuminate Studios' kids enrichment classes are limited-duration, parent-on-premises instructional programs and are not drop-off childcare. A parent or legal guardian must remain on the Illuminate Studios premises for the entire class, remain immediately reachable by phone, and be able to promptly return to the children's program area if requested. The parent or legal guardian remains responsible for the child's arrival, departure, toileting, feeding, medical needs, and any individualized behavioral support. Studio instructors provide structured group instruction and reasonable group supervision during the scheduled class only; they do not provide one-on-one care, diapering, toileting, feeding, medication administration, or supervision before or after class.
Cancellation Policy
We understand life happens. Here's how cancellations, credits, and rescheduling work.
Cancellation Window
Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours before your scheduled class or session to retain your credit. Late cancellations will forfeit the class credit.
Late Cancellations
Cancellations made within 12 hours of the class start time, or no-shows, will result in the full class credit being deducted from your account.
Rescheduling
To reschedule, cancel your existing booking at least 12 hours in advance and re-book your preferred time. Credits remain valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.
Credit Expiration
Unused class credits expire 90 days after purchase. Monthly membership credits reset at the end of each billing cycle and do not roll over.
Illness & Emergencies
If you or your child are feeling unwell, please stay home. We will happily credit your account for illness-related cancellations made with less than 12 hours' notice — just let us know.
Studio-Initiated Cancellations
In the rare event we must cancel a class, all enrolled participants will receive a full credit to their account. We will notify you as early as possible via email.
Safety Guidelines
Safety is our top priority. These guidelines help protect every child and family in our care.
Health & Wellness Check
Children and parents must be symptom-free to attend. Please do not come to the studio if you or your child have a fever, cough, rash, or any contagious illness within the last 24 hours.
Allergy Awareness
Illuminate Studios is a nut-free facility. Please inform us of any allergies during registration so our staff can take appropriate precautions.
Supervision
Children enrolled in kids classes are supervised by our Play Specialists during class time. Outside of class, children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
Hygiene
Please wash hands upon arrival. Hand sanitizer stations are available throughout the studio. We sanitize all equipment and play areas between classes.
Safe Play
Our Play Specialists are trained to facilitate safe, age-appropriate play. Please follow staff instructions and encourage your child to use equipment as intended.
Emergency Contacts
Accurate emergency contact information is required at registration. Please update your profile if contact details change so we can reach you promptly if needed.
Secure Check-In
Only authorized adults listed on your child's profile may pick up your child. Please bring a valid ID when collecting your child from a class.
Background Checks
All Illuminate Studios staff and Play Specialists undergo comprehensive background checks and child safety training before working with families.
