We talk a lot about how much we love our kids. But what about the parts of motherhood that feel harder to admit?
These experiences are far more common than we realize, yet so many moms carry them quietly.
Join Alex Steric, LCSW, PMH-C, for a four-part conversation series exploring the emotional experiences of motherhood that deserve more honest conversations.

The Four-Part Series
Each gathering blends education, practical tools, and plenty of time for conversation and Q&A. Come to one, or come to all four.
I Love My Kids, But Sometimes I Miss My Old Life
The grief, identity shifts, and complicated emotions of motherhood
We'll talk about missing parts of our lives before kids, the changes in our identity, and how it's possible to love our children deeply while also grieving parts of who we used to be.
Why Am I So Angry All the Time?
The invisible load, overstimulation, and resentment no one prepared us for
We'll explore the mental load of motherhood, feeling touched out, being the default parent, and why anger and resentment can show up when we're overwhelmed or our needs aren't being met.
The Things I Worry About But Never Tell Anyone
Anxiety, intrusive thoughts, guilt, and the pressure to get everything right
This conversation will focus on the worries moms often keep to themselves, including worst-case-scenario thinking, intrusive thoughts, constant guilt, and the pressure to be a 'good mom.'
I Miss Us, Too
Relationships, intimacy, friendship, and feeling disconnected after kids
We'll talk about how motherhood changes our relationships with our partners, friends, and ourselves, including loneliness, resentment, intimacy, and finding ways to reconnect.
